Job Opportunity

This key role involves providing strategic procurement and delivery expertise to embed best-practice procurement across City Operations. The Procurement Business Partner will work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvements, enhance value and efficiency, and provide actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advice, support, and coordination of procurement services across all aspects of procurement, including strategy and planning, sourcing, negotiations, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Lead complex end-to-end procurement projects, developing relevant approach-to-market, sourcing, and contracting strategies, processes, and documentation that are fit-for-purpose.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, providing procurement information, analysis, and reports to inform commercial decisions and planning.
Requirements:
  • Experience and demonstrated success working in a procurement partnering role, preferably in a large, complex environment.
  • A strong understanding of end-to-end procurement, including strategic sourcing, procurement, and contract management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, ability to build rapport at all levels, and a data-driven approach.
  • Qualifications in procurement, supply chain, legal, or relevant business experience.
