Strategic Procurement Specialist

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the procurement process for OFCI Equipment, a significant cost component within the construction process.
To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, engineering, or related fields, along with equivalent experience.
The selected individual will work closely with stakeholders to ensure clarity of specifications and operational requirements. They will also assist in obtaining vendor submittals, maintaining product specifications, collaborating with vendors, monitoring and managing contracts, preparing status and tracking reports, and supporting procurement managers and directors in their daily tasks.
The key responsibilities of this role include record-keeping, driving OFCI equipment submittals to closure, analyzing vendor quotes, change orders, and submittals, learning and managing financial software to enter POs, review invoices, track budgets, allocate equipment from purchase to projects, and coordinating with vendors for scheduling start-up and commissioning support services.
This role requires strong business acumen, knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, and the ability to learn quickly and drive results. The workload is primarily office-based, with minimal travel requirements (
