About the Role

The Employment Coach plays a pivotal role in managing an allocated caseload of up to 80 customers with a prior offender history.

The overarching objective is to facilitate employment opportunities for these individuals by addressing non-vocational issues and developing vocational skills and experience.

Key responsibilities include conducting 'reverse marketing' of customers to suitable employers, leading group-based job search sessions to motivate and promote further job placements, and generating suitable vacancies and job referrals to place our customers into.

Key Success Factors:

  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for helping people find employment.
  • Exhibit outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to develop positive relationships with a diverse range of customers, employers and staff.
  • Effectively assess, match and refer customers to appropriate job opportunities and advocate directly to employers.
  • Meet individual targets and work towards clearly defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Display strong administration skills and IT literacy, data entry and typing skills, Word, Excel and Outlook experience.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
