About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Freghete, a renowned Italian restaurant in Broadbeach Waters, QLD. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes, from soups and meats to desserts and salads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our restaurant managers to create new menus that showcase the freshest ingredients and traditional Italian flavors.
  • Culinary Leadership: Train and mentor new staff members on cooking procedures, plating, and kitchen operations.
  • Inventory Management: Manage suppliers and oversee stock ordering and returns to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety in the kitchen.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other chefs and cooks to ensure efficient kitchen operations and exceptional customer service.
About You
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work unsupervised, and a passion for Italian cuisine.
What We Offer
