Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Galleons Bistro.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes that exceed our guests expectations.
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase the best of modern Australian cuisine.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment, adhering to food safety and health standards.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing kitchen team.

Requirements:

  • A formal qualification in commercial cookery.
  • Previous experience in a senior kitchen management role.
  • Leadership experience in supervising a team of cooks and kitchen staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
