About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Property Claims Specialist to join our team at Allianz Australia. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for assessing and resolving property claims in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a timely delivery of property claims outcomes that meet or exceed customer expectations throughout the life of a claim.
- Liaise with claimants, repairers, and other internal/external stakeholders to drive timely decision-making and life-of-claim outcomes.
- Assess indemnity, liability, costs, and the validity of building and remediation scope of works.
- Assess remediation and make-safe claims and costs.
- Review building and remediation cause-of-damage reports, including geotechnical and structural engineering reports.
- Identify defects and non-compliance repairs utilizing Australian Standards and National Construction Code.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Building trade qualifications and/or loss assessor qualification through ANZIIF.
- Extensive property assessing and customer service experience.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of theories and practices of insurance and loss.
- Ability to plan and prioritize effectively, organize tasks, and manage competing resources and demands.
- Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting, and communication tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
