Job Description

The role of a Female Community Home Care Worker involves travelling between clients' homes and assisting them with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centred care and support. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives and help them live their best life possible.

The Role Includes:

  • Providing domestic assistance, including light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
  • Offering social support and transportation, including accompanying clients to medical appointments and social activities
  • Assisting clients with the use of aids, such as standing or walking frames and wheelchairs
  • Monitoring clients' well-being and reporting on their progress
  • Participating in staff meetings and attending training sessions as required
  • Working under the supervision of a Care Coordinator
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Australian Federal Police Clearance
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Valid Working Rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
  • Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
  • Smartphone with internet access
