The Business Intelligence Insights Specialist is a critical role within the IT function. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring HammondCare gets the best value from its investment in business systems by collecting, analysing, visualising and quality-assuring data.
This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. The role is based at St Leonards, with hybrid working options available.

**Job Description**
The Business Intelligence Insights Specialist will be responsible for:
- Gathering data from various sources, including databases and external data sources, and analysing it to identify trends and insights
- Utilising data visualisation tools (PowerBI) to present data in a visually appealing and understandable manner, helping stakeholders make informed decisions
- Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data by implementing data quality checks and validation processes
- Engaging with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translating them into technical specifications for data analysis
- Creating and maintaining reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Staying updated with industry trends and best practices in BI and analytics, recommending improvements to existing processes and tools
- Providing training and support to end-users on BI tools and reports, ensuring they can effectively utilise the data available to them
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A commitment to engage and align with HammondCare's mission, motivation and values
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics or a related field
- At least 3 years demonstrated experience as an end-to-end Power BI dataset modelling specialist, with experience using premium features such as pipeline development
- Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX and Power Query essential
- An understanding of data warehouse concepts
- Experience with SSIS or similar ETL tools desirable
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills at a senior level, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse group of people
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong presentation skills
- Approachable, empathetic and strong relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights
**Salary**: The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $90,000-$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure includes NFP salary packaging and other benefits.
