About the Opportunity

This exciting part-time casual role is available for a passionate Subject Matter Expert to join our team at Bradfield Senior College in St Leonards, Sydney. As an expert in HSC and vocational education, you will have the opportunity to teach a range of subjects including Food Technology, Design and Technology, History, English, Drama, Music, Community and Family Studies, Legal Studies, Society and Culture, Business Studies, PDHPE, Biology, Mathematics, Dance, Visual Arts, Photography, Learning Support, Industrial Technology – Multimedia, Software Engineering, Certificate III Event Management, Certificate II Fashion, Certificate III Design Fundamentals, Certificate III Entertainment, Certificate III Musical Theatre, Certificate III Visual Arts, and Certificate III Information Technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach HSC and TAFE day classes to students in Years 11 and 12.
  • Provide relief teaching, tutorial services, and academic mentoring to students.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Mentor and support colleagues to improve their teaching practices.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, preferably with a focus on education or training.
  • Proven experience in teaching HSC and vocational subjects, with a strong understanding of curriculum design and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
  • A commitment to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to scheduling.
