About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity in the Gold Coast for an experienced Sales Representative or Account Manager with strong B2B selling skills to join our Government and Defence sector team.

Reporting to the Government & Defence Team Lead, you will drive user demand for our products across all categories and understand the path to purchase. You'll maintain, support, and service end-users to create an exceptional user experience by offering solution-based sales while developing strong customer and stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • TARGET and EDUCATE end-users to convert from existing brands to our products, achieving set sales targets.
  • EFFECTIVELY present our products and solutions within the Government and Defence channel.
  • MANAGE, DEVELOP, and MAINTAIN new and existing users on our platform, focusing on new business acquisition within the assigned Government and Defence channel and state.
  • Manage all activities, information, and sales within Salesforce CRM.
  • PARTICIPATE in sales events, state industry meetings, and social networks to represent our brand.
  • Partner effectively with other sales teams to deliver the best outcome.

About You

  • A minimum of 1 year direct selling or business development/account management experience.
  • Previous experience in working with the Defence or Government/Local Government/Emergency Services sectors is highly regarded.
  • Strong ability to develop and foster client relationships and build rapport.
  • Trade background/hands-on experience with tools is desirable.
  • High level of communication, presentation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fully qualified driver's license with an excellent driving record.

The estimated salary range for this Defence Sector Sales Professional role in the Gold Coast area is $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
