Executive Claims Manager Job Summary

This leadership position reports to the Head of Third-Party Claims and is an external-facing role, overseeing our claims offerings in Executive & Professional lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of claims professionals, managing a broad portfolio of Executive & Professional lines claims in accordance with established service standards.
  • Set expectations, coach, and develop teammates for optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the broader Executive & Professional lines team on claims trends, portfolio development, policy wordings, and risk issues.
  • Meet with customers and broker partners to communicate our 'Claims is Our Product' promise.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 15 years' experience handling a broad range of Executive & Professional lines claims for an insurer or in legal practice, demonstrating technical mastery in negotiating and settling complex claims.
  • Proven people management experience is essential.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of claims as a contributor to overall insurance operations are required.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, leadership, and negotiation skills are necessary.
