Street Tree Installation Labourer

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit labourer to assist with the installation of street trees in Sydney. The role involves working in a team environment, lifting heavy loads, digging, moving materials and setting up sites.

  • This is a full-time position for an initial 6-month period, with ongoing work available after this time.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and be able to follow instructions effectively.
  • A reliable vehicle and drivers licence (provisional or unrestricted) are also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the installation of street trees in Sydney.
  • Lifting, digging, moving materials and setting up sites as required.

Requirements:

  • Excellent physical fitness and ability to lift heavy loads.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and enthusiasm about developing knowledge and understanding for construction landscaping.
  • Willingness to work in unfavourable weather conditions.

Preferred Equipment:

  • White Card.
  • Drivers licence (provisional or unrestricted).
  • Reliable vehicle.
  • PPE (steel cap boots, long pants, wide brim hat, non-branded long sleeve high vis top).
