Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pathology Specimen Collector to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who value patient care and have a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Specimen Collection: Collect biological specimens from patients in a safe and professional manner, ensuring all samples are labelled and processed according to established protocols.
  • Patient Care: Provide exceptional patient care, addressing any concerns or questions, and maintaining a clean and organized collection area.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
Requirements:
  • Certification: A Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection is highly desirable.
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience working in the health, aged care, or community sectors is essential.
  • Independence: The confidence to work independently, sometimes in solo collection centres.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Efficient time management and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Continuous Learning: A willingness to learn new things and enjoy variety within the role.
  • First Aid: A First Aid Certificate is a must.
