Position : Pathology Service Assistant

Location : Toowoomba, QLD

Employment Type : Full-time and part-time opportunities available. Shifts are scheduled between 6:30 am and 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Participation in a Saturday morning roster (8:00 am to 2:00 pm) is also required on a rotating basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Treat our patients with care and compassion
  • Process collected pathology specimens and prepare them for testing
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
  • Enter data into the laboratory information system
  • Answer telephones
  • Use a computer-aided dispatch system to organise urgent sample collection

What we are looking for

Within this varied position, the successful applicant will provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers. Laboratory/data entry experience would be highly regarded.

Most importantly, you will have the flexibility to work a range of shift times between 6:30 am – 7:00 pm Monday to Friday, plus participate in a Saturday morning roster with shift hours 8:00 am – 2:00 pm.
