About the Role
  • Collect biological specimens (blood, urine, etc.) from patients in a safe and professional environment.
  • Ensure all samples are labelled and processed according to established protocols.
  • Provide outstanding patient care, addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the collection area.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient care.
  • Previous experience working in the health, aged care or community sectors.
  • A Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection is highly desirable.
  • The ability to work independently, sometimes in solo collection centres.
  • Effective time management and problem-solving skills.
  • A willingness to learn new things and enjoy variety within their role.
  • A First Aid Certificate.
