The Company

The Role

As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will report to the Finance Manager and be responsible for managing and processing all accounts payable invoices for transport, shipping lines, and agents. This includes resolving exceptions and queries and providing administrative support for the accounts team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and reconcile AP accounts for all shipping lines, agents, transport, and overheads
  • Prepare and schedule payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Resolve invoicing queries and exceptions, escalating to the Finance Manager or Financial Controller as necessary
  • Manage detention invoicing and follow up on queries
  • Order office supplies and groceries, ensuring efficient operations
  • Disburse invoices and maintain accurate records
  • Monitor KPIs, ensuring a 24-hour backlog is maintained
  • Provide weekly updates to the Finance Manager and Financial Controller on Bravo Tran issues, opportunities, and process improvements
  • Close shipments and adhere to strict KPI timelines
The Person

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional with exceptional reconciliation skills and a freight forwarding background.
