Ap/ar Officer
**IN A NUTSHELL**:
We're searching for an Accounts Payable & Receivable Officer. In this role, you'll report to our Finance Manager and will be responsible for the accounts receivable and payable for Bellroy. We are a growing, global business and need solid expertise in this space to manage cash flow effectively, maintain good vendor relationships and support our finance team.
While AP and AR will be your focus, you'll be called upon to assist with other finance tasks including bank reconciliations, month-end processes and ad hoc projects such as gathering data for a new payment process. You'll need to have an excellent grasp of numbers, solid processes in place and the ability to spot when something doesn't add up. Communication and getting things done are your superpowers and you know how important these skills are to the smooth running of a business.
Bring us your excellent communication skills, eye for detail and can-do attitude. In return, we'll offer you an incredible team to work with, learning opportunities and an award-winning culture to be a part of.
**YOU COULD BE THE ONE IF YOU**
- Have a degree in finance or equivalent work experience (we are open to a wide range of backgrounds and parents returning to work are very welcome to apply)
- Know your way around spreadsheets & word documents
- Have the ability to pick up systems and processes quickly (we use Google suite and Netsuite is our ERP system so previous exposure would be beneficial)
- Possess strong organisational and prioritisation skills with a sharp eye for detail
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication with an appropriate blend of professionalism and friendliness
- Have the desire to work collaboratively in a team within a fast-paced, agile environment
- Think a workplace with dogs, coffee, breakout spaces and a casual dress code sounds like a great place to spend your working days.
- Want to work for a company that cares about doing good things for the world.
**WHY WORK FOR BELLROY?**
We make great products that delight people in their everyday lives. We help our staff love their work and grow as people. We believe in working to help make the world a better place. As a certified B Corp, we pursue better ways to source our leathers (for environmental impact and animal welfare), reduce our impact on the environment and make sure our products last as long as possible. We are constantly looking for better ways to dowell, everything.
**LOCATION AND HOURS**
This is a full-time role based in our Collingwood office with some WFH flexibility.
**HOW TO APPLY**
Have a good look around our website, read Our Story page and get a feel for who we are. If you think you'd be a good fit, please send us your cover letter, resume and answers to the questions below
