Workplace Health and Safety Specialist

Ramsay Health Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Work Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our National Safety Team, you will play a crucial role in promoting work health and safety across our four facilities in Northern NSW.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee work health and safety across 2 hospitals and 2 surgical centres
- Support the National Safety Manager in the management of the company safety management system (RamAusSMS)
- Develop and implement effective safety strategies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
- Collaborate with site managers and staff to promote a culture of safety and well-being
- Conduct regular site visits and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards
- Tertiary qualifications in WH&S
- Experience in Work Health and Safety and demonstrated knowledge in relevant WHS legislation
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective skills in planning, time management, problem solving and decision making
- Commitment to the achievement of excellent outcomes, with a strong sense of accountability and customer service
- Valid NSW Drivers licence and your own car
- A competitive base annual salary of $100k - $110k ($80 - $88k pro rata) + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications
