The position involves overseeing risk management, internal audit, and insurance functions. Key responsibilities include prioritising customer engagement by providing proactive professional advice to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Offer guidance on all aspects of risk management, internal audit, and insurance matters.
- Assist business unit leaders in managing risks according to the organisation's Risk Management Framework.
Other key responsibilities include supporting the development of strategies for mitigating and managing risks, identifying opportunities for process improvements, and providing training and support to colleagues as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- A tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business or Law is essential.
- At least five years' experience working within the risk and internal audit functions of large organisations is required.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to identify and assess risks, are necessary.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required, along with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
This is a full-time position located at La Trobe University's Melbourne campus.
Flexible work arrangements are offered to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
The successful candidate will be required to hold a valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check prior to commencement.
