Job Summary

This part-time Research Project Coordinator role at the Urban Transformations Research Centre offers a unique opportunity to contribute to research focused on urban green spaces and resilient cities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing projects, working closely with the Centre Manager, Project Chief Investigator, and research team. Key objectives include project planning, scheduling, and execution within time and financial constraints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project coordination and implementation
  • Developing and managing project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Collaborating with stakeholders, including community and industry partners
  • Effective communication and reporting
  • Managing digital communication channels
  • Coordinating events, such as workshops and seminars
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in Humanities or Social Sciences, or extensive professional administration experience in a research communications setting
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects from inception to completion
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to create professional business documents and project reports
  • Interpersonal skills allowing effective liaison with diverse stakeholders
  • Adept at building networks and negotiating effectively
Benefits

This position offers a competitive remuneration package, including:

  • HEW Level 7 salary range: $72,634 to $78,343 per annum (0.6 FTE of the full-time equivalent rate)
