Resilience Role

The City is seeking a Resilience Officer to implement our Ryde Resilience Plan 2030, building community and city-wide resilience.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a strategic team across various projects and programs.

You will enjoy a rostered day off approximately once every three weeks as an Employer of Choice.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in designing and delivering corporate and community resilience programs.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and stakeholders through both written and verbal communication.
  • Confidence in presenting and collaborating to drive results and strengthen resilience networks across the city.
  • Ability to prepare reports, grant submissions, and communications on various resilience, resource, or sustainability topics as required.
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends or weekday evenings as needed for project requirements.
  • A current NSW Class C driver's license.
