About the Role

The City of Palmerston is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to General Manager Finance and Governance to provide high-level administrative support to the General Manager and Governance directorate. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient execution of responsibilities, delivery of the Community Plan, and promotion of Council's corporate image.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in providing executive-level administrative support, with a strong focus on customer service, diary management, records management, documentation preparation, agenda and minute preparation, and research assistance.

About You
  • Demonstrated high level of effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated administrative experience at executive level in a similar role.
  • Superior organisational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated proficient computer skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of administrative procedures, guidelines, practices, policies, and activities applicable to an office and/or local government environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and present information with high attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated high level of customer service skills.
