Job Title: Transport Operations Assistant

G. James, a leading Australian glass and aluminium manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Transport Operations Assistant to join their team at the Bundaberg branch.



Job Summary:

This is a full-time permanent position offering a competitive hourly rate, paid monthly RDOs, and a 38-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will have a valid MR/HR truck license, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Load and deliver aluminium products and glass to customers
  • Manually load and unload delivery trucks
  • Manage inventory, complete paperwork, and assist with factory labouring
  • Perform general warehousing duties and maintain a clean work environment
  • Provide excellent customer service and work collaboratively with the team to ensure workplace safety


Requirements:


  • Valid MR/HR truck license and driving experience
  • Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical fitness to handle building products
  • Current construction white card (preferred)
