Job Description

As a key member of the H&M Group team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's brand and reputation through effective communication and public relations strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement global PR strategies to drive local PR activities, including media selection, pitching, events, and follow-up.
  • Build and strengthen the H&M brand by developing corporate communications messaging for senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Manage crisis situations, provide support, and coordinate responses as needed.
  • Communicate sustainability messaging and develop partnerships with CSR organizations.
  • Plan, execute, and follow up on local internal communications activities, supporting the Marketing & Communications Manager with important internal communication initiatives.
  • Lead and develop team members to strengthen the team and foster collaboration.
  • Secure business results and follow up based on insights and analytics.
Requirements:
  • Deep knowledge and experience of working with local media (fashion & corporate) and a strong network with journalists, stylists, and influencers.
  • Event management experience and experience in managing external partners – PR agencies, Event agencies, etc.
  • Experience with leading a team, ensuring strong collaboration and integration.
  • Proven strategic communication planning, media relations, and issues/crisis management skills.
  • Experience with CSR partners and sustainability.
  • Experience with internal communications and corporate communications messaging.
  • Impeccable communication skills and an excellent relationship builder.
  • A communication degree or relevant qualification.
