Head of Communications Role

We're seeking a seasoned communications professional to lead and execute internal and external communications strategies, managing a small team and driving communications programs that engage employees, shape public perception, and manage corporate communications for a leading ASX-listed company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver internal communications programs that align with our business strategy, covering topics such as ESG, product innovation, and customer insights.
  • Drive PR strategies that build and protect our brand, leading consumer and corporate PR activities, aligning them with our strategic priorities.
  • Manage and mentor a small team, ensuring alignment with broader communications objectives and fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Work closely with senior leadership and executives to organise and execute internal communication plans that resonate with all levels of the business.
  • Serve as a key advisor during crisis situations, providing strategic direction and ensuring a calm, considered approach to reputation management.
  • Oversee and support the delivery of content across multiple channels, including the intranet, corporate website, and social media.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in PR, Communications, Corporate Affairs, or Brand Communications, with solid experience in internal communications and PR.
  • A background in leading communications programs for medium to large organisations, ideally with experience in ASX-listed or similarly complex environments.
  • Proven ability to develop both internal and external communications strategies and manage them from concept to execution.
  • Experience managing a team and developing talent.
  • Experience working with senior leadership and executives, building trusted relationships, and managing complex communication needs.
