Disability Support Worker

About the Role

We are seeking experienced support workers to join our team and assist our clients in the disability sector.

Shifts are available Monday to Friday 8am to 10am, assisting clients with personal care and light domestic tasks.

As a support worker, you will have the opportunity to work with clients in the Bellarine Peninsula area, with potential for other work opportunities in the region.

About You

  • Excellent communication skills, compassionate and approachable
  • Able to build strong relationships with clients while maintaining professional standards
  • Reliable and flexible to meet clients' needs
  • The ability to make a positive impact on each individual's life, supporting independence, empowerment, and inclusion in the community

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of recent experience in providing personal care support to clients in a disability, community, hospital, or aged care setting
  • Cert III or IV in Disability, Community, Aged Care Support, or Individual Support. Nursing students with 6-8 weeks of nursing placement experience can also apply
  • Current Australian driving license and reliable vehicle
  • NDIS Worker Clearance
  • Current first aid and CPR certificate
