As the Principal Finance Advisor with the Department of Education QLD, you will be responsible for providing expert financial advice to schools and regions, enhancing student learning outcomes and resolving priority issues.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of finance in a school environment, including interpretation of policy and procedures, as well as exceptional relationship-building skills and ability to work with diverse clients.

You will lead the development of high-level strategies, policies, procedures, and systems to support optimal utilisation of departmental funds and resources.

A key aspect of this role is to provide specialist advice, capability building, and intensive case management to schools and regions.

In addition, you will collaborate with the Statewide team of Principal Finance Business Partners to address identified priority issues and deliver improvement initiatives across the state.

We offer an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a competitive salary range of $131,080 - $140,381 per annum (pro rata), reflecting full-time employment (1.0 FTE).
