About the Role:

Firesoft People is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Delivery Lead to oversee and facilitate the delivery of infrastructure scope of works for our internal customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multiple infrastructure streams, including Hosting, Network, Workplace, and Database, as an enabler of line of business change initiatives.
  • Provide technical coordination and status updates to Project Managers.
  • Manage workflow and oversee implementation for line of business projects into the Infrastructure team.
  • Work with Infrastructure line managers to organize resourcing for delivery tasks.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to manage delivery.
  • Facilitate the ordering of infrastructure hardware and software as required.
  • Implement technical changes and serve as an ambassador for the Infrastructure team.
  • Escalate customer stakeholder concerns and challenges.
  • Understand customer business drivers, strategies, and roadmaps, and measure and monitor benefits realization.
  • Provide customer input to drive Infrastructure operational considerations.
  • Enforce standards and policies across the Infrastructure team and customers.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in delivering infrastructure solutions.
  • Technical awareness of infrastructure products.
  • Business analysis skills for supporting business requirement definition.
  • Experience with outcome-based setups and delivering on hard commitments and fixed timelines.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in a direct IT-business engagement role.
  • Knowledge of ITIL disciplines.
  • 8+ years of experience in a technical delivery-oriented role.
  • Relationship management with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading virtual teams.
