Commercial Manager

Aequalis Consulting - Infrastructure is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team and support our bid processes for infrastructure services. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and commercial insights to our senior management and bid teams.
Key Responsibilities- Support senior management and bid teams through the entire tendering / bidding process, providing technical support and commercial insights.
- Manage the application of the financial model and ensure its integrity and currency.
- Understand the context and broader goals around contract negotiation.
- Present complex financial information to a broad range of senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead critical elements of the bid processes and provide well-founded, sound commercial advice.
Candidates require around 5 years of experience supporting large bid and tender processes, with experience in Social Infrastructure transactions being particularly useful. You will be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge of applying financial models to commercial contracts.
You will have worked in either another Service Provider or in an Advisory team, and have worked through a number of large transactions, PPP deals for example, and have a detailed knowledge of all the component parts of the deal from cradle to grave.
You must have been part of a winning bid process and seen firsthand how a successful bid evolves and instinctively understand the key risks and how to mitigate them.
Critical to this is a detailed understanding of a financial model and how it is applied to a large complex transaction.
