Early Years Specialist Role

This is a key position within the education sector that will provide expert advice on issues related to early years of education and transition to school. The role will lead and manage projects within timelines, utilizing allocated resources and involving officers across the organization and external participants.

  • Lead or participate in project teams to develop advice, resources, and professional development materials to support implementation of educational guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively to plan and develop policy advice, resources and professional learning that is informed by research and data.
  • Provide expert advice to senior management on issues related to the early years of education and transition to school.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and sustain relationships with stakeholders. They will also be able to think critically and act strategically, making considered decisions based on insight into the broader context.
