Kambu Health stands as a proud community-controlled, not-for-profit organisation that has been a pillar of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and wellbeing across the Ipswich and West Moreton region since 1973. Established in response to the urgent need for equitable, accessible, and culturally safe healthcare services. Over the decades, we have evolved into a trusted provider of health and community services while remaining deeply connected to the cultural values, traditions, and aspirations of the community we serve. Today, Kambu Health employs over 100 dedicated staff, offering a comprehensive range of integrated services, including primary, allied and specialist health services, early childhood education, and family support programs, across multiple clinics and community centres.

About the role
- Site located at Amaroo ELDC, Silkstone, QLD
- Part-time, 22.08 hrs/week
- 12 months fixed term
In this meaningful role, you'll be part of a passionate Early Years Team, planning, delivering, and reflecting on engaging and high-quality education and care programs. Guided by a holistic approach, you'll help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing space where children and families feel supported and respected. You will also work alongside the Early Childhood Teacher's to support learning experiences that meet each child's needs and align with our service's values, current regulations, and curriculum goals.
About the successful applicant
To be successful in this role, you will:
Selection Criteria:
- Hold a Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Previous experience as an Early Years Educator
- Demonstrated experience in early childhood service provision
- Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood development, including the Early Years Framework and Child Safe Standards
- Current First Aid and CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificates
Mandatory Requirements:
- Current Working with Children Check – Blue Card
- Current Open Driver's Licence

- Annual Leave Loading of 17.5%
