About the Position

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to lead our Early Years intervention program.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating a high-quality group program, addressing individualized support needs of children and families, and serving as the primary point of contact for families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate a quality early intervention group program
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans for children and families
  • Act as the main point of contact for families and provide regular updates and communication

Requirements

  • Evidence of current COVID-19 vaccination
  • Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • Professional registration with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) or AHPRA/SPA membership
  • First Aid certification including Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Education or Special Education, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Pathology
  • Proven experience as a qualified Teacher (preferably in Early Years education), Occupational Therapist, or Speech Pathologist
  • Demonstrated understanding of contemporary methodologies in early intervention for children on the autism spectrum or other developmental challenges
