Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead our Engagement and Visual Communications Section.

The successful candidate will oversee the team responsible for providing engagement advice and services to water executives, focusing on strategic planning, implementation, and communication. Key responsibilities include developing and delivering high-quality design collateral, conceptualising materials to communicate policy and program messaging, and providing creative design advice to support the development and implementation of engagement and communications strategies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a small team and its workflow to deliver timely and effective design solutions.
  • Conceptualise and produce materials to communicate policy and program messaging through various mediums.
  • Provide creative design advice to support engagement and communications strategies.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of communication materials to ensure continual improvement.

In this role, you will have direct supervisory responsibilities for APS level staff and will be expected to build strong relationships with colleagues across the division and Commonwealth Water family. You will also contribute to the section's leadership cohort and participate in procurement processes relating to design projects.
