The role of Court Officer is to provide administrative support to the Associate and Judge in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
Responsibilities include:
- Undertaking various tasks as assigned by the Associate and Judge.
- Assisting with case management and preparation of orders and judgments.
- Providing exceptional customer service and responding to enquiries.
- Managing chambers and ensuring a smooth operation in the absence of the Associate.
- Collaborating with the Associate and Judge to ensure effective communication and workflow.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- A high level of adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
