Key Court Leadership Role
The Manager Court Operations is responsible for the management of courts' registry operations in a range of regions, including Newcastle and surrounding areas. This leadership role oversees resources to achieve defined service and operational objectives at local, state and national levels.
Job Responsibilities
- Liaise with judges and ensure they are properly supported both in chambers and in court.
- Ensure court services meet client needs and are provided in a courteous, timely and efficient manner.
- Work to align service delivery within court operational guidelines to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Lead and motivate staff to maintain the confidence of judges in the administration of courts.
Leadership and Communication
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the legal profession and clients.
- Assist in developing business plans and projects that align with the Director Court Operation NSW/ACT's vision.
Operational Performance
- Ensure consistency in client service delivery across operational areas of the Courts.
- Maintain effective liaison with judges, court personnel and other stakeholders to meet client needs.
Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated understanding of client service principles and ability to implement initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Proven capacity as an effective communicator and leader who can support and develop court staff.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
