At Hasbro, we're seeking a skilled Demand Planning Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain, you'll play a critical role in delivering accurate and timely demand forecasts to inform our IBP Demand Review process.

This role requires a strong understanding of demand planning principles and the ability to analyze complex data sets to drive business decisions. You'll work closely with commercial teams and global supply chain operations to maximize Hasbro's profit and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing history cleaning activities to ensure all adjustments and assumptions are recorded
  • Maintaining statistical parameters used to drive 'best fit' models and generating baselines for 18-24 month statistical forecast models
  • Undertaking weekly checks on planning data integrity and owning the signal being passed to supply chain
  • Analyzing sales vs forecasting exceptions using Logility/Power BI/SAP and making ongoing forecasting corrections
  • Reviewing POS trends to understand customer sell out and stock levels at retail, along with stock in transit data and building insights into the forecast where appropriate
  • Facilitating local management demand review and approval of forecast before the end of the Demand Planning cycle
  • Analyzing and reporting risk and opportunities included in the transmitted forecast
  • Managing market intelligence to the baseline volume driven by new product introductions, promotions, price increases, and other commercial activity
  • Ensuring local brand forecasts align with regional brand strategy in cooperation with the regional DP category lead
  • Contributing to product rationalization and portfolio optimization
  • Providing commercial partners with clear and direct communication on constrained vs unconstrained Demand Plan and PhaseIn/PhaseOut management
  • Ensuring compliance with the global forecasting calendar
  • Liaising with Market Distribution Planner to proactively communicate demand changes impacting inventory and service
  • Tracking Demand management KPIs, identifying the root cause of forecasting error, and working with relevant teams on improvement plans
  • Collecting and pressure-testing Sales and Market Intelligence for input into forecast, providing fact-based assumptions on historic shipments/POS
