About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner – Technology & Operations to join our Commercial Finance team at Foxtel Group.

As a Finance Business Partner – Technology & Operations, you will play a critical role in providing financial expertise and support to the Technology & Operations portfolio, helping shape the business and drive strategic outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing end-to-end finance support, including financial modelling, analysis, and advice on key projects and initiatives
  • Owning the budget and planning processes, ensuring actual results align to expectations across both capital and operating expenditure
  • Reviewing and assisting with the finalisation of monthly management and financial performance reports, tailored to Technology & Operations
  • Managing business initiatives, with detailed review against budgets and business cases
  • Providing guidance and management oversight to processes such as procure to pay, contract governance
  • Leading and managing the end-to-end strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting process
  • Supporting other products and areas of the business as business priorities evolve

Your Experience and Capabilities:

We are looking for a senior professional with:

  • CA/CPA qualification and 5+ years of experience in a commercial and/or financial analyst business partnering role, preferably with a passion for technology
  • Strong numerical ability and the capacity to quickly understand financial impacts of changes in key business drivers, with equal confidence in detailed modelling and quick judgement-based back-of-the-envelope estimates
  • Commercial contract/vendor management experience is highly desirable
  • Able to build deep and trusted relationships with the business, provide advice, and influence the commercial agenda
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working flexibly, with the opportunity to support other products and areas of the business
  • Proactive mindset and ability to problem-solve, with an understanding of the bigger picture and implications of decisions across the wider organisation
  • Degree qualification in Finance, CA/CPA, or equivalent, and a passion for the entertainment industry
