About the Role

The Arnott's Group is seeking a Demand Planning and Forecasting Specialist to support our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process. This role is central to enhancing our demand planning platform, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with sales and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Senior Demand Planner to lead monthly Consensus and Pre-Demand processes, engaging closely with Sales and Finance teams to align on customer-specific demand needs.
  • Champion the implementation and seamless execution of all Integrated Business Planning (IBP) demand planning initiatives, supporting broader strategic goals.
  • Develop and sustain precise demand forecasts across multiple product lines by analysing historical sales data, tracking market trends, and considering other key variables to optimize accuracy and responsiveness.
  • Deliver robust reporting and analytics to monitor KPIs, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions for performance improvements.
  • Enhance the quality and accessibility of the IBP Demand Planning knowledge database, ensuring a comprehensive and up-to-date repository of policies, SOPs, and processes to support operational excellence.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in demand planning or related analytical roles, with a solid foundation in data and system management.
  • Proficient in planning systems, reporting, and advanced analytics tools, with hands-on expertise in IBP management platforms such as JDA/Blue Yonder, SAP APO/IBP, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Industry experience within FMCG/CPG, pharmaceuticals, or similar fields, ideally within a manufacturing environment, providing a valuable understanding of sector-specific demands.
  • Strong analytical mindset with an ability to extract actionable insights from data, supporting informed decision-making and forecast accuracy.
  • Excellent communicator, skilled at working across diverse teams and translating complex information into impactful strategies.
