About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Business Development Executive to join our team at Adapt Energy. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for expanding our presence in the SME and commercial sectors, building a robust pipeline of business prospects, and securing repeat business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Sales: Identify and engage with commercial sites, including industrial estates, retail parks, aged care facilities, and healthcare providers, to build relationships and close deals.
  • Feasibility Studies: Conduct free solar and battery feasibility studies for prospects, follow up with email and collect power bills for energy assessments.
  • Partnerships: Develop strategic relationships with referral partners, such as builders, accountants, energy consultants, and property managers, to generate leads.
  • Client Management: Present solutions, attend meetings, and nurture relationships to close deals.
  • Networking: Attend industry events to enhance your network and explore collaboration opportunities.
Performance Metrics
  • Outbound Calls: New prospects per month.
  • Follow-Up Calls: To existing prospects.
  • Meetings: 10-15 client meetings per month.
  • Proposals Sent: 15-20 proposals sent per month.
  • Conversion Rate: 20-30% from proposals to closed deals.
  • Networking: Attend 2+ events per month.
  • Pipeline Growth: Maintain 2-3x the monthly kW target in the pipeline.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive base salary, commission, and superannuation, with an OTE of $185,000 per annum for achieving the 3 MW annual target.
