About the Role

 

Navitas is seeking a skilled and proactive Senior HR Advisor to join its HR Australasia team.

This role offers the opportunity to support HR Business Partners while managing a small client portfolio, delivering generalist HR advice, and driving initiatives that enhance performance, capability, and workplace culture.

You will work closely with operational managers to implement HR strategies tailored to business needs, while ensuring alignment with broader organisational goals.

  • Provide expert HR advice across staffing, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  • Coach and support managers in applying HR policies, awards, and enterprise agreements.
  • Lead and contribute to HR projects, programs, and initiatives.
  • Assist with WHS matters in collaboration with the WHS Business Partner.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

 

Essential:

  • Relevant HR or tertiary qualifications.
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience in reporting, data analysis, and interpreting EBAs/Awards.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a unionised or industrial environment.
