Job Description

We're seeking a talented UX Designer to enhance the user experience of our digital products and services. Our team focuses on creating authentic experiences that put customers at the heart of everything we do.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external partners to design, develop, and improve products and initiatives that deliver value and interest to our stakeholders. You'll be part of our product development team, collaborating with technology and operational teams to implement, market, analyze, and improve new products and features using agile methodology.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and continuously improving user journeys for our customers, aligned to strategic goals.
  • Developing solutions with vendors and partners to bring concepts to life that gain commercial agreement and progress to product and feature development.
  • Collaborating within an agile cross-functional squad tasked with conception, design, delivery, nurturing, and running new products or features to create greater value for customers and stakeholders.
  • Helping build strategic capabilities within the team.
  • Reviewing and analyzing user interactions, user feedback, and product/feature performance to inform team and leadership decision-making and product/feature roadmaps.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven knowledge of product development approach and principles.
  • Understanding of mobile and digital experience design, as well as customer research principles.
  • Understanding of digital and physical payment card industry.
  • Skill working in an Agile framework.
  • Ability to conduct and manage qualitative research, using observation, contextual enquiries, task analysis, and interview techniques.
  • Ability to generate customer insights from research data sets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a mindset for test and learn.
  • Strong customer focus to enhance experiences for our customers.
  • Experience in User Design/Customer Experience/Solution Design.
  • Practice in designing user journeys and customer experiences for digital loyalty or payments experiences (desirable).
  • Skills in pitching and co-designing solution-oriented initiatives, both internally and externally to C-level business partners.
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional workshops to meet multiple business and customer objectives.
  • Skills in capturing end-user behavioral data to generate actionable insights to drive to a commercial value outcome.
