Job Title: Digital Experience Designer

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of seamless digital experiences for customers.

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Digital Experience Designer to work alongside our team, reimagining CommSec's digital products. As a Digital Experience Designer, you will design intuitive solutions that help customers navigate and interact with our digital platforms.

You will be part of shaping the future of digital investing, creating meaningful experiences that improve the way Australians grow their wealth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead discovery activities to uncover customer needs, validate opportunities, and inform product strategy through research and co-design.
  • Translate insights into concepts, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs, ensuring solutions meet both customer and business needs.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the agile lifecycle – from problem framing and ideation to delivery and iteration.
  • Advocate for best-in-class user experience at every stage of the product development process.
  • Contribute to product strategy and roadmap discussions by grounding decisions in customer insights, design thinking, and data.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience designing digital products end-to-end in cross-functional teams.
  • Growth mindset and drive to develop your own capability and that of your colleagues.
  • Proven ability to lead discovery and delivery activities with stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills – comfortable sketching ideas with engineers and presenting strategic concepts.
