A career opportunity has arisen for a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in a modern and well-equipped maintenance facility.
Main Responsibilities:- Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble the fleet and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards at all times.
- Maintain all company vehicles and assets according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Ensure all maintenance work is performed in accordance with established procedures.
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out field-related mechanical repairs.
- Effectively communicate any safety or maintenance issues.
- Adhere to Work, Health & Safety requirements while performing duties.
- Experience in vehicle servicing and maintenance; training can be provided to develop skills.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment on daily maintenance and repair schedules.
- Show proactive approach to finding better ways to improve processes and adapt to a dynamic team environment.
- Demonstrate passion and commitment to achieving outcomes.
- Hold a MR or HR driver's license (preferred).
