A position has become available for a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to work in our state-of-the-art maintenance facility.

This role requires a mature and professional approach with excellent communication skills, reporting directly to the Workshop Foreman.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnosing, inspecting, reconditioning, repairing, assembling vehicles and ensuring safety, quality and industry standards are followed at all times
  • Maintaining all company assets in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines
  • Ensuring all maintenance work is performed according to established procedures
  • Attending breakdowns and carrying out any field-related mechanical repairs
  • Effectively and efficiently communicating any safety or maintenance issues
  • Complying with all Work, Health & Safety requirements while performing work duties
Requirements:
  • Experience in the service and maintenance of vehicles (training provided to develop skills)
  • Ensuring adherence to safety standards and policies
  • Sound level of verbal and written communication
  • Experience working in a team environment on daily maintenance and repair schedules
  • Proactive approach with a drive to find better ways to continuously improve and be adaptable in a dynamic team
  • Passionate and invested in achieving results
  • MR or HR driver's license (preferred)
