Job Description

A position has arisen for a skilled Heavy Vehicle Technician to work in a well-equipped maintenance facility.

This role requires you to have a mature and professional approach with excellent communication skills.

  • Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble the fleet, and ensure safety, quality, and industry standards are followed at all times.
  • Maintain all company vehicles and assets in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Ensure all maintenance work is performed according to company procedures.
  • Attend breakdowns and carry out any field-related mechanical repairs.
  • Effectively communicate any safety or maintenance issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful applicant will:

  • Have experience in the service and maintenance of vehicles; training will be provided to develop these skills.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies.
  • Have a sound level of verbal and written communication.
  • Have experience working in a team environment on daily maintenance and repair schedules.
  • Be proactive, driving continuous improvement and adaptability in a dynamic team.
  • Be passionate about achieving outcomes.
  • Hold a MR or HR driver's license (preferred).
