We are currently seeking a highly skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our maintenance team in Griffith. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to work in a modern and well-equipped facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vehicle Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair: Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble fleet vehicles, and ensure safety, quality, and industry standards are maintained.
  • Fleet Maintenance: Maintain all company vehicles and assets according to manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Work Procedure Compliance: Ensure all maintenance work is performed according to established procedures.
  • Field Services: Attend breakdowns and carry out field-related mechanical repairs.
  • Communication and Reporting: Effectively communicate any safety or maintenance issues.
  • Workplace Safety: Adhere to Work, Health & Safety requirements while performing work duties.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: Experience in vehicle service and maintenance; training provided to develop skills.
  • Safety Standards: Ensure adherence to safety standards and policies.
  • Communication: Sound level of verbal and written communication.
  • Teamwork: Experience working in a team environment on daily maintenance and repair schedules.
  • Proactivity: Proactive with a drive to improve and adapt in a dynamic team.
  • Outcomes: Passionate about achieving outcomes.
  • Licensing: Hold a MR or HR driver's licence (preferred).
