About the Role

An exciting opportunity currently exists for a highly motivated National Account Manager (NAM) to join our Independents team.

This role will be responsible for partnering with, managing and driving growth with our Metcash customer partners to achieve targets for profitable sales and market share for Simplot brands and products.

Key Responsibilities

You will manage all retail sales activities including business & joint category planning with Metcash, whilst also partnering with our category, insights & revenue management teams to generate new business opportunities through NPD, activation and pricing & mechanic initiatives.

You will be an active participant in the cross functional category team to develop an aligned channel / customer strategy that will deliver sustainable growth in areas such as sales, distribution and market share for both Simplot and the wider Independent network.

You will work closely with the Key Account Managers and Independent retail field representatives to drive and deliver your category strategy at the customer level.

About You

To be successful in this role you will ideally have experience working as a National Account Management preferably with knowledge of the Independent network.

Alternatively, we are open to a highly capable National Account Executive or State/Key Account Manager looking for the next step up in their career.

You will demonstrate a strong business and financial acumen, have the ability to build and maintain strong cross functional relationships, and will be a skilled communicator across varying levels.

Most importantly, you will have a very strong customer first focus and is someone who is authentic and can bring stories to life.

Estimated salary: AU$80,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
