About the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced Rail Signalling Commissioning Manager/Engineer to join our team in Seven Hills, NSW. As a key member of our Rail Operations business unit, you will be responsible for developing and implementing testing and commissioning procedures to ensure compliance with relevant TfNSW standards. Your expertise in managing teams and resources will be crucial in delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement testing and commissioning procedures and processes to ensure compliance with TfNSW standards.
- Manage costs and subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Oversee the application of project strategies to ensure successful handover to clients and stakeholders.
- Manage the competencies of Laing O'Rourke testing and commissioning resources.
- Conduct compliance reviews and audits for testing and commissioning work.
- Assess and manage training requirements for Laing O'Rourke testing and commissioning resources.
- Ensure operational readiness of projects for handover to clients and stakeholders.
- Provide regular reports on project progress, issues, and status.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in railway signalling, site testing, and commissioning.
- Proven track record of managing teams for delivery phase of testing and commissioning.
- Expertise in preparing testing and commissioning documents, including strategy, methodology, work packages, procedures, reports, and SWMS.
- Sydney Trains and/or ARTC relevant Statement of Competency - Signalling Engineer/Tester in Charge/Commissioning Engineer required.
- Member or Fellow in IRSE (Institute of Railway Signal Engineers).
