Rail Signalling Commissioning Manager/Engineer

About the Role
Laing O'Rourke is seeking a highly experienced Rail Signalling Commissioning Manager/Engineer to join our team in Seven Hills, NSW. As a key member of our Rail Operations business unit, you will be responsible for developing and implementing testing and commissioning procedures and processes to ensure compliance with TfNSW standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement testing and commissioning procedures and processes to ensure compliance with TfNSW standards.
- Manage the overall application of project strategies through to successful handover to clients and stakeholders.
- Manage the competencies of Laing O'Rourke testing and commissioning resources and ensure appropriate resources are allocated.
- Undertake compliance reviews and audits for all testing and commissioning work undertaken by Laing O'Rourke.
- Assess and manage the training requirements of Laing O'Rourke Testing and Commissioning resources.
- Provide reports on progress, issues, and status of all relevant activities.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 10 years' experience in railway signalling, site testing, and commissioning. You should have exposure to managing teams for delivery phase of Testing and Commissioning and preparation of Testing and Commissioning documents. Sydney Trains and/or ARTC relevant Statement of Competency - Signalling Engineer/Tester in Charge/Commissioning Engineer is required. Membership or Fellowship in IRSE (Institute of Railway Signal Engineers) is also preferred.
