About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Rail Signalling Commissioning Manager/Engineer to join our team in Seven Hills, NSW. The successful candidate will have a strong background in rail signalling and commissioning, with experience in managing teams and delivering projects to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement testing and commissioning procedures to ensure compliance with relevant TfNSW standards.
- Manage costs and subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Oversee the application of project strategies to ensure successful handover to clients and stakeholders.
- Manage the competencies of Laing O'Rourke testing and commissioning resources.
- Conduct compliance reviews and audits for testing and commissioning work.
- Assess and manage training requirements for Laing O'Rourke testing and commissioning resources.
- Provide reports on project progress, issues, and status.
About You
- Minimum 10 years of experience in railway signalling, site testing, and commissioning.
- Experience in managing teams for delivery phase of testing and commissioning.
- Preparation of testing and commissioning documents, including strategy, methodology, work package, procedures, reports, SWMS, and JSEAs.
- Sydney Trains and/or ARTC relevant Statement of Competency - Signalling Engineer/Tester in Charge/Commissioning Engineer required.
- Member or Fellow in IRSE (Institute of Railway Signal Engineers).
